A crown, sometimes known as a “cap”, is a fixed restoration that completely surrounds the tooth. It may be needed for a variety of reasons including tooth cracks, large cavities, to protect a tooth after root canal treatment, for shape and/or color changes that may be desired, and more.

Yes! We do not participate with any dental insurance networks in order to keep fees as low as possible, but we can provide the appropriate codes for the work competed and you can file with your carrier to receive direct payment.

Your appointment length depends on the number of teeth we restore. Expect to be on your way in under 90 minutes for a single tooth and under 2 hours for two teeth. Need every tooth crowned? We can do that too! It may take two appointments but each appointment would be just couple of hours.

While we limit our focus to crown restorations, we can absolutely help you find the right dentist to complete other necessary dental procedures, if needed.

We use state-of-the-art CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and manufacturing) technology right here in our office. Instead of messy putty molds, we take a quick, highly accurate 3D digital scan of your mouth. Our advanced in-office milling machine then custom-carves your crown from a solid block of high-grade material while you wait.

The crown fee is a per tooth fee that includes necessary x-rays, limited exam and evaluation to determine a treatment plan, the preparation of the teeth involved, the scanning, design, fabrication, and cementation of the restoration(s). We don’t want any surprises when it comes to your treatment and the fees invovled.

We offer a number of metal-free crown material options each with varying levels of esthetics and strength. We can help determine what the best material choice is for your specific case.
